Lucas Seiler is a corporate affairs and communications executive specializing in high-stakes issues at the intersection of business, government, and reputation. He currently serves at the Head of Corporate Communications at ITG Brands, a $3 billion U.S. company with more than 4,000 employees nationwide. In this role, Lucas advises executive leadership on communications strategy related to regulatory policy, legal matters, public affairs, and corporate reputation. He leads integrated communications efforts across government relations, external affairs, and stakeholder engagement, helping position the company on complex and often highly scrutinized industry issues.
Prior to ITG, Lucas led external communications and media relations for BMO Bank’s U.S. Consumer and Business Banking division - the 8th largest bank in North America by assets - where he was responsible for positioning the bank’s leadership, managing national and regional media strategy, and supporting communications around business growth, financial services trends, and corporate initiatives. He was responsible for communications supporting one of the largest cross-border banking acquisitions in recent history, helping guide messaging and media strategy around BMO’s acquisition of a major U.S. bank. Additionally, he served as one of the bank’s spokespersons and media trained the bank’s executives.
Earlier, Lucas founded Propulsion Agency, a strategic communications firm advising clients across legal, financial services, private equity, design and construction, and business improvement districts, such as the Chicago Loop Alliance. His firm helped organizations strengthen their reputations, navigate sensitive issues, and secure meaningful media visibility. He also led the firm’s media training program.
He began his career in broadcast journalism as a television news anchor and reporter, where he developed the ability to communicate clearly under pressure, distill complex issues for broad audiences, and understand firsthand how media narratives are shaped. This experience continues to inform his work advising executives and organizations on effective communicate and public positioning.
Lucas also help agency roles supporting major legal and corporate clients through crisis situations, litigation, and national media scrutiny, such as the Boeing 737 Max crashes, anti-terrorism litigation, and aftermath of the Parkland tragedy. He played a key role in guiding communications strategy and press conferences during periods of global media attention, supporting leadership through complex, high-stakes environments.
